I have been to Weimar several times, so I have tried both smaller and larger hotels in this beautiful city. I always look for a hotel that is in the center, but at the same time quiet, which means that it does not have windows to a busy street. The Best Western Premier Grand Russischer Hof completely exceeded all my expectations! The hotel is right in the center, I stayed in a room that has windows to a side street, so it was absolutely quiet. The room had a very comfortable bed, a beautiful bathtub and was generally beautifully equipped. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Of all the hotels I have tried in Weimar, this one is definitely the best. In the others, I was bothered by the noise or not very professional staff or the room was nice but had little storage space. I am very glad that I discovered this gem among hotels!

This is the most elegant vest western I have ever stayed at and rivals much more expensive luxury hotels in Germany. Everything was more than expected—the room, the hotel staff, the eating areas (the bar complete with bistro menu and delicious cakes) and amenities. And unlike some other hotels we stayed at on our 2 week road trip in Bermany, the wifi was stable and worked without a glitch. It is right on the main plaza in Weinar and we also got parking there (maybe off season and weekday helped). Highly recommend.

Stayed at a very spacious Junior Suite with "town view". We liked the slight nostalgia of our rooms and felt the historic ambiance of this special place. The staff had been incredible attentive and we noticed that several of their guests were addressed by their names, indicating a true hospitality. We travelled over the the Easter period and indeed, the entire hotel had been decorated accordingly in the most beautiful manner. The breakfast had been sumptuous with our service being super attentive. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center and the main attractions can be reached in less than 5 minutes walking distance.

Excellent hotel with a rich cultural history reflected in the various busts of artists, musicians and writers situated between the floors. It is associated most with Franz Liszt. Breakfast selection is not enormous but of very high quality with a good range of teas. Generous size of rooms. Attentive and interested staff. The foyer is beautiful.

The breakfast was outstanding, with a good selection of food to suit most. The location is fantastic; it is close to many sights tourists would typically visit. The staff were friendly and the hotel itself is stunning In terms of its design.

This is an old school hotel offering deep comfort in quiet, noble surroundings. It goes very well with the general historic atmosphere of Weimar and couldn't be better located. From museums to cafés and restaurants; everything is a short walk away.

Easy check-in with friendly professional staff at reception. Well-appointed, quiet, spacious, warm room, with excellent bathroom. Extremely good food in restaurant for evening meals and also at breakfast. Ideally located close to the centre of the old city. In summary, a first class hotel with first class staff. Strongly recommended.

We booked the junior suite for one night, which was a very charming and spacious room. Everything very clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated on a good and central location in Weimar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. 24hrs Recepetion. Unfortunately we had no time to visit the sauna (also did not notice it, where it was). We had no complaints and enjoyed our stay very much.
